The Auburn University Cost Calculator is designed to help you estimate your cost of attendance at Auburn University by calculating tuition, fees, and housing charges against scholarship and financial aid awards for which you may qualify.

To maximize the accuracy of the calculator, you will need the following information:

Incoming freshman students accepted for admission should complete the scholarship application through the
Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM) by 4:45 p.m. CST on:

  • December 1 to receive priority consideration for Freshman Scholarships awarded by the Office of University Scholarships
  • February 10 to receive final consideration for available Freshman Scholarships, as well as General Scholarships awarded by the Office of University Scholarships and Departmental Scholarships awarded by Auburn's colleges and schools.
You should complete the FAFSA, available online beginning October 1. The FAFSA must be received by March 1 for consideration of need-based scholarships.
